Sunline Defier is a combination monofilament/co-polymer blend that has been created ultra dense for reaction bait fishing. Ultra dense means ultra thin and very strong. 22lb line is similar diameter to 12 pound P-Line CXX. Defier was originally designed for crankbait fishing, with the theory that thinner line would make for deeper running baits. It has become so popular that it is now the go to line for most reaction baits, inluding crankbaits, topwater and swimbaits, when line diameter makes a difference.
