G.Loomis used rods and trade-in's are a great way to pick up used to mint condition Loomis rods for a big savings.  

WARRANTY: Piece of mind included with every purchase.  Loomis does not transfer it's manufacturer warranty to used rods.  However, 9/10 rated rods will be considered new, never registered rods, and every used Loomis rod with a rating of 6-8/10 purchased through us will receive a 30 day in-house warranty so you have piece of mind included with every purchase.  If your rod breaks or has any issues for any reason within the first 30 days we will replace it with another rod or refund the purchase price if a replacement isn't available.

USED/TRADE-IN ROD RATING SYSYTEM: We rate all rods on a scale of 1-10.  10 being a brand new rod off.  The following rating applies to all rods in our store:

Rating 9/10: New, mint condition, never used rod.  Could be missing tags or original packaging, could be a rack or tank demo, could be a trade-in that wasn't originally purchased at our store.

Rating 8/10: Almost mint condition.  These rods have been fished once or twice and then traded in.  Could be a sample we used for videos, could be a rod a customer purchased and traded in for something else, etc.

Rating 7/10: Great condition.  These rods have been fished a normal amount.  Normal signs of use are on the rods such as dirty or lightly pitted cork, water spots, etc but structurally the rods are perfect.

Rating 6/10: Good condition.  These rods have been fished frequently and may be older rods from previous generations of models.  Visibly the rods will look heavily used, but they should still deliver a long life of use.

Rating 5/10: Mid condition.  These rods have been used hard and put away dirty.  We take very few of these rods but every once in a while a rare rod comes through the shop that we'd rather let someone else enjoy than say no.  There is only a 7 day in-house warranty on 5/10 ratings.

Rating 1-4/10: We don't mess with these, nor should you :).
