The LC 1.0 features a compact profile with a size that is great for imitating small baitfish. The bait is available in the original silent version as well as the DRS (deep rattle sound) option. Lucky Craft pro Brent Ehrler helped to develop the DRS and chooses it when looking for a unique sound from his baits.
"It has a clicking sound with a single knock that is different than just having one BB inside," he said. "It's not a very aggressive sound and isn't too loud, which gives it a different sound than every other crankbait out there."
The LC 1.0 size is also a favorite of Ehrler's when he needs to downsize his baits. "I like fishing the LC 1.0 in both versions and it's excellent when the fish are heavily pressured or keying on small bait fish," he said. "It's also a great size for river systems. One of the best parts about it is you can still use the same rod and 14-pound line you use for the 1.5 because the 1.0 still casts very well."
