With a steady retrieve FLAPSLAP will roll stably, giving off on & off flashing. If jerked, it will, well, flap & slap. When you pause the bait, FLAPSLAP will do a little action due to the built in Shaft Balancer, which has been proven by the Q-GO to trigger a fish strike.
