Often imitated but never duplicated, the Battles Shad was designed, tested and hand crafted by Mike Gilbert in 2016 as a new tool for angler's to target Trophy Bass around heavy cover or structure.

The Battles Shad is a tall, hollow, full body "snag-less" swimbait featuring the first of it's kind, Headcase Harness. Nose blow outs from Beast Hooks are a thing of the past! In addition to the Headcase Harness, the Battles Shad features the original Stealth Mode Hook Slot, Chaos Chamber and Twist Tail for bigger bites and superior hook penetration.

The Battles Shad is a Premium soft bait that is intended for use by angler's that have an advanced knowledge of rigging soft plastic Swimbaits with Beast Hook style hooks. We do not recommend the Battles Shad to be an angler's first swimbait.

The Battles Shad is a soft bait, so toothy critters (especially Turtles) will bite off the tails. We stand behind our products so please reach out to us if you have any issue outside of wear and tear with our baits that may be considered as a manufacturer defect. Each bait is hand poured and painted so there will be slight variations in paint from bait to bait along with cosmetic variations in the plastic from bait to bait.

The Battles Shad comes in a reusable package that allows anglers to
store rigged Battles Shads worry free.
