A 4.5-inch drive stick non-salt model born from a hot request from Loco Angler.

The trigger was the so-called "Nagoya fishing method" that originated from Lake Biwa North Lake. To briefly explain the deep fishing, it is a style in which a lightweight jig head is set on a stick bait type worm and a big bass is seduced by swimming while delicately shaking.

What is required of a worm is not only a natural shape and action that imitates a bait fish, but also a material that has a swim posture and a light weight that allows it to swim naturally without being stuck in the bottom too much.

Still, it has its own weight that allows long-distance casting even with a lightweight jig head. Baits that meet these conflicting conditions are rare, but among them, Spec 2, which is a low-density model of the drive stick, was selected.

However, Spec 2 has a low center of gravity by adding salt only to the ventral side, albeit in a small amount, in order to have stability in a no-sinker rig. The ideal setting sought by an angler who specializes in Nagoya fishing is "a stable posture that allows slower swimming than spec 2 and a soft touch to the bottom and weed."

When I asked for a non-salt sample to be tested in actual battle, I received a reply that it satisfied the touch feeling and action to the ideal weed. And he quickly caught a bass over 60 cm, and his actual fishing performance is convincing.

The merit of non-salt material is not only the Nagoya fishing method, but also the excellent performance output on the water surface with a no sinker rig. Also, it demonstrates the goodness of needle holding even in trailers such as bladed jigs and spinner baits, and does not rust the hook even if it is left attached.

A new invitation made possible by non-salt materials. I want you to experience the new area of drive sticks.
