Mega Slam X8 is an eight strand PE braided line developed after considerable testing for fishing big artificial lures in saltwater. It has low elongation and flexibility allowing it to cast large lures more easily with heavy lb test lines. Casting heavy lures with baitcast reels can also cause traditional lines to backlash or stop suddenly that can break off heavy lures. MegaSlamX8 is manufactured with a balance of power and flexibility to allow it to cast repeatedly without backlash. The goal of throwing big lures is to catch big fish and once that fish is hooked, Mega Slam has the shock and linear strength to tackle the ocean’s biggest creatures. It has a bright green color and white markings every 55 yards.
