As opposed to its counterpart which utilized three moving weights for high response to light and sharp twitches and suspending action, the Varuna Spec 2 uses 2 weights that are placed in a position where both jumping and swimming actions can still be achieved but fixed with an ultrathin middle plate to keep the bait silent. It still maintains its posture even without the low center of gravity and, since it's a slow float, has the excellent evasive ability and is ideal for when attacking around structure.
